About This Game

Quick Overview
Stories Of Iliria is a turn-based strategy RPG set in the year 1100 A.D., during a war between three districts on the continent of Iliria. The game follows a large-scale conflict across two generations, with tactical battles, story choices, playable characters, side stories, alternate timelines, and New Game+ content. It was developed by Noah Zentner and released on March 18, 2026.

What makes it different is its old-school SRPG style. It feels more like a personal indie tactical project than a polished mainstream RPG, with over 20 chapters, many playable characters, Tarot-card achievements, and “what if” scenarios that expand the story beyond one straight campaign.

Who Should Play This Game?
Play Stories Of Iliria if you enjoy grid-based tactical RPGs, medieval fantasy stories, large casts, turn-based battles, and games where decisions can affect how the war unfolds. It is a good pick for players who like classic strategy RPGs, indie RPG Maker/SRPG Studio-style games, and slower story-heavy campaigns.

Skip it if you want modern 3D visuals, fast action combat, full voice acting, or a very polished AAA-style RPG. This is more for players who enjoy tactical depth, character management, and retro presentation.

Performance on PC
Stories Of Iliria is extremely light on PC. The minimum requirements list Windows 10, an Intel Pentium 4 2.0 GHz, 512 MB RAM, 1024×768 resolution, and only 400 MB storage.

Because it uses simple 2D tactical visuals, it should run on almost any modern PC or laptop. You do not need a dedicated gaming GPU, and even older low-end systems should handle it without much trouble.
