About This Game

Quick Overview
Vault Vandals is a chaotic local multiplayer roguelite where 2–4 players send robots into dangerous dungeons, grab treasure, and try to escape before the Wall of Doom catches them. The twist is that you do not control your robot directly — you give it AI-style directives like explore, loot, steal, or retreat, then watch it follow those orders with mixed results.

The game is built around greed and betrayal. You can work together to survive, but you can also steal loot from friends, bid against them for upgrades, and risk cursed treasures that give bigger rewards with nasty side effects. After 5 rounds, the player with the highest total value wins, so every run becomes a messy fight between teamwork, panic, and pure selfishness.

Who Should Play This Game?
Play Vault Vandals if you enjoy couch co-op chaos, local PvP, roguelites, dungeon crawling, and party games where friends can help one minute and betray you the next. It is a good pick for players who like funny multiplayer tension more than serious competitive balance.

This is not for players who want tight direct character control or a deep solo RPG. The fun comes from giving orders, watching robots behave unpredictably, stealing at the worst possible moment, and laughing when someone gets too greedy and loses everything. It should work best with friends in local multiplayer or Remote Play Together.

Performance on PC
Vault Vandals should be very easy to run. The Steam page lists Windows 10 64-bit, Intel Core i3 / Ryzen 3, 4 GB RAM, integrated graphics like Intel HD 4000 / AMD Vega with WebGL 2.0 support, and only 200 MB storage as minimum requirements. Recommended specs are still light: Core i5 / Ryzen 5, 8 GB RAM, a dedicated GPU with 2 GB VRAM like GTX 750 / RX 550, and 500 MB storage.

Most low-end PCs and laptops should handle it well. Since it is a local multiplayer game, the bigger requirement is not hardware — it is having enough controllers, friends, and screen space for the chaos.
