Halo: Reach is a sci-fi first-person shooter and a prequel to the original Halo trilogy. Instead of focusing on Master Chief, the story follows Noble Team, a group of Spartan soldiers fighting during the fall of planet Reach. Halo: Reach is perfect for players who want a more emotional and military-style Halo campaign. It is a great pick if you enjoy squad stories, large sci-fi battles, vehicle sections, and old-school FPS design where the combat sandbox matters more than modern weapon customization.
You should play it if you want one of the strongest campaigns in the Halo series. It also works well for newcomers because it is a prequel, so you do not need to know every detail from the main trilogy before playing. But if you want a fully modern shooter with advanced movement and huge progression systems, Reach may feel more classic and slower.
Performance on PC
Halo: Reach is light by modern PC standards.
