About This Game

Quick Overview
Granblue Fantasy: Relink is an anime-style action RPG set in the Sky Realm, a world of floating islands, skyfaring crews, primal beasts, and magical battles. You play as the captain of a crew traveling with Vyrn, Lyria, and a large cast of playable characters, each with their own weapons, skills, and combat style. The game released on PC on January 31, 2024.

The main appeal is fast party-based combat. You fight in real time with a team of four, use character skills, chain attacks, and take on large boss fights either solo or in online co-op. It feels like a JRPG adventure mixed with mission-based action combat, where the story gets you started but the boss hunts, loot, builds, and character mastery keep you playing.

Who Should Play This Game?
Granblue Fantasy: Relink is perfect for players who enjoy flashy action RPG combat, anime fantasy worlds, co-op boss fights, and characters that feel different from each other. It is a strong pick if you like games where you can pick a favorite fighter, upgrade their gear, learn their combos, and take them into harder quests.

You should play it if you want something more action-focused than a traditional JRPG, but still full of party members, lore, and big fantasy spectacle. But if you prefer deep open-world exploration or slow turn-based combat, Relink may feel more mission-based and combat-focused than expected.

Performance on PC
Granblue Fantasy: Relink is not extremely heavy, but it does ask for stronger specs than many anime RPGs. Steam lists the minimum specs as Windows 11 64-bit, Intel Core i3-9100 or Ryzen 3 3200G, 16 GB RAM, GTX 1060 6GB or RX 580 8GB, DirectX 11, and 90 GB storage. That target is for 1080p/30 FPS on Standard settings, with an SSD recommended.

For 1080p/60 FPS on Ultra, Steam recommends an Intel Core i7-8700 or Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB RAM, RTX 2080 8GB or RX 6700 XT 8GB, and 90 GB storage. On a modern mid-range gaming PC, it should run well, but the large boss fights, effects, and co-op action can make stable FPS more important than pushing every setting to max.
