Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR’S CUT is an open-world samurai action-adventure set during the Mongol invasion of Tsushima. You play as Jin Sakai, a samurai forced to choose between honorable combat and stealthier “Ghost” tactics to protect his homeland.
The Director’s Cut includes the main story, the Iki Island expansion, Legends online co-op mode, Japanese lip sync, Kurosawa Mode, and PC-specific features like unlocked frame rates, ultrawide support, DLSS, FSR, XeSS, and DualSense support. The PC version released on May 16, 2024.

Ghost of Tsushima is perfect for players who want beautiful open-world exploration, cinematic sword fights, stealth, duels, and a strong samurai revenge story. It is a great pick if you enjoy games like Assassin’s Creed, Sekiro, or Red Dead Redemption 2, but want something more focused on atmosphere, honor, and clean combat flow.
You should play it if you like clearing enemy camps, following wind-guided exploration, upgrading armor sets, and switching between direct swordplay and silent assassination. But if you prefer very deep RPG choices or extremely punishing combat, this is more of a cinematic action-adventure than a hardcore RPG or Soulslike.
